Dreams are what keep us going. They give us hope and motivation to work hard towards our goals. From a very young age, we all have dreams and aspirations of what we want to achieve in life. As children, our dreams seem so simple and close within our reach. However, as we grow older we realize achieving big dreams requires dedication, perseverance, and hard work. This is the story of one such dreamer who never gave up on his dreams despite facing many challenges.
Pics by "Mere Khawab Mere Jugnoo" PictorialJugnoo was a 12-year-old boy living in a small village. He came from a very poor family who could barely make ends meet. His father was a daily wage laborer and his mother looked after the household. Ever since he was young, Jugnoo was fascinated by airplanes flying in the sky. He would spend hours gazing at them, wondering where they were going and who was on board. His biggest dream was to one day fly an airplane himself.
While other children his age were busy playing, Jugnoo would spend all his free time reading any book or magazine he could find about airplanes, pilots, and different types of aircraft. He had a natural talent for understanding how machines worked. His teachers recognized his intelligence and passion for aviation early on. However, his family's financial situation meant further education was not a possibility for Jugnoo. He knew fulfilling his dream of becoming a pilot would be an uphill task but he was determined to find a way.
At the age of 15, Jugnoo decided to move to the city in search
of a job to support his education. It was a big step for a young village boy,
but the lure of his dreams drove him to take the risk. In the city, he took up
small odd jobs like working as a mechanic in a garage or helping out at a
roadside dhaba. Through sheer hard work and determination, he was able to save
enough money in a few years to enroll in a basic aviation course.
The course was an eye-opener for Jugnoo. He realized to become a commercial pilot, years of training and experience were required along with a hefty fee which seemed impossible for someone from his background. Deterred but not defeated, Jugnoo started applying for any aviation-related job he could find - from working as a technician at an aircraft maintenance company to assisting flight instructors at a flying school. Through these jobs, he was able to gain invaluable hands-on experience around aircraft while also earning to support his education.
After working tirelessly for 5 long years, Jugnoo had saved enough to enroll for his commercial pilot license training. The rigorous program tested his mental and physical strength to the limits. Long hours of study, simulator sessions, and actual flying lessons left him exhausted each day. There were many moments Jugnoo felt like giving up, but the thought of those cloudless skies he dreamed of as a child kept him motivated. On his third attempt, he finally cleared all exams to get his commercial pilot license - a milestone he had worked so hard for since childhood.
Armed with his license, Jugnoo started applying for jobs with various airlines. His years of experience and passion for flying gave him an edge over other candidates. Within a few months, he received an offer to join a domestic airline as a co-pilot. The day he wore his uniform for the first flight was one of the proudest moments of his life. All the struggles and sacrifices had paid off.
Today, after 5 years of diligent service, Jugnoo has been promoted to captain and flies some of the airline's international routes. Whenever he is thousands of feet above in the air commanding an aircraft, he looks down fondly remembering that little village boy with big dreams. Jugnoo is a shining example of how determination and perseverance can help one achieve even the most ambitious of goals despite facing immense challenges. His story inspires many young dreamers to never give up on their khawab.
In conclusion, dreams are what give us the strength and
motivation to work hard every day. Jugnoo's journey shows with patience and
dedication, any dream is achievable. As the famous quote goes - "Where
there is a will, there is a way". Our dreams are what keep us going in
difficult times. One should never lose hope and give up on their jugnoo. With
hard work and perseverance, the skies can be ours.
